ALEXANDRE GOYETTE

Actor, author, former waiter (like every actor!) and new father Alexandre Goyette is also a great lover of microbrewery beer. Born into a family in the beer brewing business, it is said that he was introduced to the art of beer tasting at a very tender age; legend even has it that he first sampled the precious elixir in the bottle!  It is not hard to imagine the great enthusiasm and titillated taste buds with which he decided to join our team, doing us the honour of being spokesman for the Festival des Bières de Laval.

His one-man show King Dave won awards for Best Male Actor and Best Original Script at the 2005 Gala des Masques theatre awards. Alexandre is currently working on a movie adaptation of King Dave, a 1:40 sequence shot produced by Podz (19-2, Minuit le Soir, C.A…). Alexandre has also graced the small screen in Providence, La Promesse, 19-2, C.A., and La théorie du K.O. His movie credits include La dernière fugue by Lea Pool,  Les 7 jours du Talion by Podz, Le sens de l’humour by Émile Gaudreault, La peur de l’eau by Gabriel Pelletier and Laurence Anyways and Mommy by Xavier Dolan.

As you can see, Alexandre is likeable, dynamic, passionate and intense: just like our event! We would like to share how proud we are to have him as our spokesman!
